What is civil engineering :-

Civil engineering is the branch of engineering under which designs of roads, canals, dams and buildings etc. are made.  This branch of engineering is a very old branch.  Because in ancient times too many buildings and roads were built and dams were also built which are all under civil engineering.  The biggest example of this is the Indus Valley Civilization, in which people built houses and heads similar to today's times.  For this we can say that the history of civil engineering is very old.

Civil engineering is a part of professional engineering.  In which the environment created by man made and nature is maintained.  Also, public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewerage systems, pipelines, buildings, railway stations are constructed.  All public works are man made.

What is the important role of civil engineers in civil engineering :-

In civil engineering you are taught about infrastructure.  In civil engineering, you are taught about all types of construction work like.

How to become a civil engineer :-

To become an civil engineer, you have to give an entrance exam after passing high school / enter. This entrance examination, polytechnic and JEE and CEE is conducted in two ways. Only those candidates who succeed in these entrance exam  Admission is available in Polytechnic or B.Tech College. There are some institutes in India which also conduct Entrance exam on their own. Entrance exam, JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) is conducted for Bachelor degree and CEE for PG course is conducted.

Aducational Qualifications :-

There are two types of civil engineers:

1. Junior civil engineer

2. Senior civil engineer

To become a junior civil engineer, you have to do a diploma course which you can do after passing class 10th. It is mandatory for the candidate to pass in class 10th with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Math. And duration of diploma course  of 3 years.

 BE in Civil Engineering field after passing Senior Civil Engineer candidate in Class 12th in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Math.  Or B.Tech course is compulsory. This course is 4 years. B.E.  Or to get admission in B.Tech course, the candidate has to get good marks in science subject in class 12th. Along with this, the candidate also has to give engineering entrance exam. The candidates who pass this entrance exam.  They are allowed to do this course. You get college according to the rank of entrance exam.

Candidates who have completed B.E./ B.Tech course, he / she will further pursue M.E.  /M.Tech can do the course. 

Civil Engineering Course :-

There are 3 types of courses in civil engineering :

1. B.tech in civil engineering -

B.Tech in civil engineering is a professional undergraduate course in which you get a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering.B.Tech in Civil Engineering is a 4-year course.

For this course, you have to pass the 12th examination from any recognized board with at least 65% to 80% marks in math, science subjects.

  In order to enroll in engineering college, a national level engineering entrance exam is conducted in our country, you can do engineering courses in many government and private colleges in our country through this exam. 

2. M.tech in civil engineering -

M.tech in civil engineering is a professional post graduation course.  In this, you get a master's degree in civil engineering.

M.tech in civil engineering is a 2-year course and for this course you have to do B.Tech in civil engineering from any recognized university or college.  You have to score at least 60% marks in your final year.

you get admission in MTech course only through GATE exam.

To do m.tech in civil engineering, it is compulsory to give you the GATE exam and you must also score good in GATE only then you will get admission in MTech course in a good college.

3. Diploma in civil engineering -

In diploma in civil engineer, you get diploma certificate in civil engineering. This course is of 3 years.

For Diploma in civil engineer, you have to pass 10th or 12th examination from a recognized board with math chemistry physics.

Civil engineers can be made in the government sector also, there are too many seats for civil engineers in the government sector.  Civil engineers can get jobs in many fields like -
